Blackwood's Baby - Laird Barron
"I sold a story a year or so back to Nick Gevers and Jack Dann. It's loosely related to "Catch Hell." Should be appearing next year. It's about a group of big game hunters who've gathered at a remote 1930s estate to hunt the Devil's stag. Here's a scene where the protagonist explains why he got out of the ivory trade." :-
"“Are you saying you quit the safaris because your mother might disapprove from her cloud in Heaven?” Mr. Briggs said.
“Nope. I’m more worried she might be disapproving from an ice floe in Hell.”"

Lovecraftian Obsession Episode 7 - Laird Barron
"Well, it's been a while, but I've been graduating and traveling and getting into trouble. I apologize for the delay, but here's a great interview with Laird Barron I recorded several months back. The author of The Imago Sequence and Occultation talks about Lovecraft, horror writing, and the racing sled dogs, among other chilling topics. "
